Well, the girls are excited to have real snow instead of just a few flurries. Last weekend Emily was able to build a snowman with grandma and grandpa and we took the twins to their first Christmas party. They enjoyed running around and liked Santa from a distance, but they were not so fond when Santa came up close and it was time to sit on his lap!

This weekend Daddy promised Emily she could go "sledding" before the snow went away. They took a few runs around the front yard.

After seeing big sister, the little girls needed a turn. They were banging at the front door while Em was out sleeding.

They only got a few times around but they really enjoyed it. So much so that later last night and this morning Mads was bringing me their boots and coats and standing by the door to go back out. This morning Em did get to go out and play in the backyard with a friend for a few minutes. She had a lot of fun!
The twins wanted to join in too, but it was a little too cold and windy, maybe next time!
