We spent a quiet 4th of July weekend close to home. This year we did not see any fireworks, except for the ones we could see neighbors doing from our yard. Last year E developed a fear of fireworks, and is still deathly afraid. I am trying to tell her that they are ok and pretty to look at, but I also had quite the fear of fireworks when I was younger. Honestly, I still don't particularly enjoy the loudest ones.
On the 4th, we went to grandma and grandpa's house for a barbeque. All the girls had fun on the swing and E had fun playing tag. When Uncle Matt was running to far and too fast, she would use her magic wand to tag him so he was it. I think she has been watching a few too many Disney movies. I also had a fun time capturing the kids fun with my camera and trying out a different lens. Here are a few pictures:
